Dear Future Gladiator,

Thank you for your interest in becoming a South Carolina Central Christian College Gladiator!

South Carolina Central Christian College adheres to the eligibility standards.

Please take a few moments to complete the questionnaire for the sport(s) you are interested in.  That information is sent directly to the head coach. In addition, please know that teams play competitive collegiate schedules and practice five days a week while in season. Playing college sports is a commitment.

Before your first day of practice or trying out, a medical professional must complete each student-athlete's physical. Here is the physical form you will need to complete by a medical professional.

A copy of the student-athletes official high school transcript that certifies the student has graduated from a standard U.S. high school must also be turned in to the athletic office before the start of official practices. Home school students need to contact the athletic office for verification procedures.

For GED students a copy of the official results is required. OFFICIAL college transcripts from any other college(s) attended must also be given to the Athletic Director.

Students who have graduated from a foreign high school or are on an I-20 Visa must do the following:

  • High school transcript MUST be translated to English (if applicable) by a professional translation service and document graduation date.

  • Google Translate is NOT an acceptable interpretation document.

  • The suggested provider for translation services is World Education Services (www.WES.org).

  •

Please get in touch with the Director of Athletics or the head coach of your intended sport if you have any other questions.
